Ecco alcune curiosità sul mondo di questo telefilm!!!!!

- "Degrassi. the next generation" è solo l'ultimo della saga di "Degrassi": il primo telefilm ambientato nella scuola si intitola "The Kids of Degrassi Street" (1983-1986), seguiti da "Degrassi Junior High" (1987-1989) e "Degrassi High" (1989/90).

- Uno degli insegnanti, ovvero il professor Snake, è stato un alunno della scuola. Infatti il personaggio è apparso anche nelle due precedenti serie.

- Il telefilm viene girato al "Malvern Collegiate Institute" di Toronto, Ontario (Canada).

- DTNG è il nome canadese della serie. Nel resto del mondo viene chiamata in vari modi: in America è semplicemente "Degrassi", in Italia "Degrassi junior high" (anche se in errore), in Francia "Degrassi, nouvelle génération", in Spagna "Degrassi, la nueva generación", in Brasile "Degrassi la próxima generación" e in Polonia "Degrassi: Nowe Pokoleniem". Solo l'Australia ha mantenuto il nome originale.

- La sigla è cantata dai Jakalope e la si può trovare nella colonna sonora uscita in Canada sia nella versione tv che estesa, che presenta oltre al ritornello anche molte parti rap.

- La versione americana presenta moltissime censure: fra le tante abbiamo la scena del pene eretto di Spinner in "La cocca del professore" (2^ serie), Ashley in reggiseno e mutande in "Can't Hardly Wait" (6^ serie), giudicando troppo nuda dalla rete, e l'inquadratura del sangue che esce dalle spalle di J.T. accoltellato in "Rock This Town".

- Tutti i titoli originali sono titoli di canzoni, come l'episodio 12 della prima serie ("Wnnabe delle Spice girl"), il 16^ della terza stagione ("Take on me" degli A-Ha) o gli ultimi due della sesta serie ("Don't you want me" degli Human League)
